What role do white women play in upholding white s What role do white women play in upholding white supremacy and racist systems? A pretty big one! Even though we tend to leave them out, historically (most) white women always stood by white men when it comes to social orders that place whiteness as superior to well, everything else. It's not uncommon for women to get dismissed when It's not uncommon for women to get dismissed when they try to voice out their concerns.

I've experienced being dismissed on various occasions just because I'm a woman. Come to think of it, even little girls experience it. It can happen at home, in the workplace, in school, in the hopital, anywhere. You tell them you're in pain, they don't believe you. You aim for a promotion at work but a male counterpart gets it because "women just aren't as good as men as leaders". Sadly, this also happens on a larger scale when leaders or people of authority tend to ignore our voices.

Have you experienced something like this? I'd love to hear your story
